Your first appointment with Benjamin Turnwald Dentistry is based on your needs. A comprehensive exam involves evaluating the health of your gums, teeth, and bone to ensure your oral and overall health are in tip-top shape. A comprehensive exam could include:

Dental cleanings involve one-on-one time with one of our amazing dental hygienists (AKA hy-geniuses!) Leah or Sarah. She will gently (but thoroughly!) remove tartar and plaque from your teeth to ensure your teeth and gums are clean and healthy.

These could be signs you are in need of scaling and root planing, which is a deep cleaning conducted by one of our hygienists. This non-surgical procedure involves our hygienist removing calculus and plaque from tooth surfaces below the gumline and along the tooth root.
