Why dentistry?

Growing up in rural Michigan, Dr. Benjamin Turnwald became a dentist in Schaumburg because he always loved developing relationships with people. It was his goal to bring the small town friendliness from his hometown to Benjamin Turnwald Dentistry.

His love for dentistry developed when he job shadowed a dentist, and a patient entered the dentist’s office crying in pain from a toothache. The dentist treated her, and she walked out feeling so much better and hugged the dentist. Ever since that day, Dr. Turnwald never looked back.

“The best part of being a dentist is the relationships I develop with my patients. Every day at work I basically get to help and hang out with my friends and family.”
